France Stele Institute of Art History ZRC SAZU, the Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor, and the Maribor Library kindly invite you to the presentation of the 21st booklet from the collection “Art in a Pocket” entitled The Writer’s Villa on Tomšičeva in Ljubljana.

The presentation will take place on Tuesday, 11th of October 2022, at 11 a.m. in Synagogue Maribor (Židovska ulica 4, Maribor).

The editor of the book collection Umetnine v žepu, dr. Marjeta Ciglenečki will talk with the author of the booklet dr. Barbara Vodopivec.

At the presentation of the booklet, Boris Hajdinjak will also present the story of the Jewish Ebenspanger family, which once owned the “writer’s villa”, or the fate of Jewish families before and during the Second World War.
