You are cordially invited to a walk through the history of Račji Dvor mansion with a well-known Maribor historian and director of the Synagogue Maribor, Mr. Boris Hajdinjak. Within this guided tour, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the exciting history of the mansion that stands below Kalvarija hill at the western end of Maribor – from its origins as a Benedictine monastery to transformation into a popular restaurant known for tasty pork knuckles. The guided tour will take place on Thursday, 9 October 2025 with beginning at 18:00.

The guided tour is a part of the programme “Architecture in transformation: Račji Dvor between history and the future”, which will take place at the above-mentioned mansion from 8 October until 12 October 2025. This programme was developed by Maribor Art Gallery in cooperation with the Municipality of Maribor and a few other partnering organisations.
