On Tuesday, 21 January 2025, at 5 p.m., we invite you to the Synagogue Maribor for a discussion evening entitled “The Significance of Holy Year in the Bible“.
The guest of the evening will be Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samo Skralovnik, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Theology, University of Ljubljana, where he works at the Department of Bible and Judaism. Dr. Skralovnik is a recognised expert in the field of biblical studies and a missionary of hope in the Archdiocese of Maribor.
The discussion will shed light on the meaning of the Holy Year in the Bible, its theological and historical aspects, and its relevance for modern times.
As part of the event, it will also be possible to tour the synagogue, one of the most important monuments of Jewish cultural heritage in Slovenia.
