The Jewish History of Maribor

The exhibition “The Jewish History of Maribor” presents the history of the Jews in Maribor from their settlement to the present day. The first half of the exhibition deals with the period of the Middle Ages, while the second half focuses on the 19th and 20th centuries. The author of the exhibition is Boris Hajdinjak, director of the Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor.

The exhibition was originally prepared in 2022 as a street exhibition comprising 22 panels. On that occassion, a special video was made in which the author of the exhibition took us on an exhibition tour. Please visit our YouTube channel or click on the play button below to see the video.
