This year’s edition of the European Days of Jewish Culture will begin on Sunday, 6 September 2026. On that day, organisers all over Europe will prepare numerous activities inviting visitors from close and far to explore the Jewish culture and heritage in Europe and discover both their diversities and richness.

The Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor will join this initiative by preparing an open doors day of the Maribor Synagogue. Accordingly, we cordially invite you to visit us and learn more about the history of the only preserved medieval synagogue in Slovenia, as well as about the community that once used it.
