11. 02. 2026
– 11. 02. 2026

We cordially invite you to the presentation of the collection of papers Slovenian Prisoners in the Nazi Concentration Camp System.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, at 5 pm at the National Liberation Museum Maribor (Ulica heroja Tomšiča 5).

The collection of papers Slovenski taboriščniki v sistemu nacističnih koncentracijskih taborišč (Slovenian Prisoners in the Nazi Concentration Camp System) contributes to our understanding of the Nazi camp system by presenting both well-known and lesser-known topics and personal stories. At the same time, the collection reveals the extent of the involvement in the Nazi system and maps the events through the geographical diversity of presented stories. The collection, which contains 45 contributions from 16 institutions and 5 individuals, was published by the National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia. It will be presented by Dr Monika Kokalj Kočevar (National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia), Boris Hajdinjak (Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor), Darja Jan (Museum of Recent History Celje) and Andreja Bjelan (National Liberation Museum Maribor).
