On the International Museum Day, we invite you to an open doors day of the Synagogue Maribor, on which you will have the possibility to visit the former medieval synagogue in Maribor and view our current exhibition “Images from Theresienstadt. A Visual Diary of Gisela Rottonara (1873–1943)” free of charge.

This year’s International Museum Day is being held under the theme “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” through which museums are positioning themselves as spaces of dialogue, inclusion, and connection in a time of social, cultural, and political divisions.

At the same time you are cordially invited to also visit other cultural organisations of Židovska Cultural Quarter (KČŽ) initiative. The programme of KČŽ is available here.
