The first day of the symposium will begin at 9:00 with introductory greetings by the keynote speakers, followed by thematic presentations by domestic and foreign authors on the topic of Judeo-Christian dialogue.
The second day of the symposium will start at 9:30 and will run throughout the day, just like on the first day. Also on this day, the participating lecturers will shed light on the dialogue between the two religions in a historical context and highlight the various challenges of interfaith dialogue.
A more detailed program can be found on the website of the Faculty of Theology, University of Ljubljana.
The symposium is organized as part of the commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the Council statement Nostra Aetate, which enabled a systematic dialogue between the Catholic Church and Judaism. The preparation and implementation of the symposium were supported by the Municipality of Maribor, the Embassy of the State of Israel and the Slovenian Bishops’ Conference.
