The work of museums of all types and sizes was severely affected in 2020 and the first half of 2021, therefore it has not been so important to remember them on this year’s International Museum Day.
On Tuesday, 18th of May 2021, there will be an Open Doors Day for the International Museum Day at the Maribor Synagogue. The synagogue will be open to the public on International Museum Day from 8:00 to 16:00. The exhibitions Roman Erich Petsche and His Kočevje Region and Marko Vogrič: Grandfather Franc, Gorizia – Dachau. A Photo Letter from the Camp are currently on display.
As some Covid measures are still in force, visitors are asked to:
– to pay attention to hand hygiene and cough during the visit and to disinfect their hands at the entrance;
– to use their own protective masks in all rooms;
– to observe the prescribed mutual distance (at least 2 m);
– to take into account that, due to the applicable measures, entry into the exhibition spaces is only possible for individuals and families and small groups of up to three people.
