The European Days of Jewish Culture are an annual all-European project that has been taking place across Europe for more than twenty years. In most European countries, the EDJC will traditionally take place in September, though in some countries they will be held even later. They will officially begin on Sunday, 6 September 2026, but here in Slovenia, we will hold the first events as early as August.

We cordially invite you to join us in celebrating the European Day of Jewish Culture, to discover the Jewish heritage in Europe and its historical legacy, and to enjoy its diversity and cultural richness.

The EDJC is curated by the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ). The coordinator of the EDJC in Slovenia is the Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor.
