On the occasion of the publication of the novel A Tale of Love and Darkness and the creation of an anthology of Hebrew literature, the most famous Israeli intellectual, novelist and essayist Amos Oz will visit Slovenia.
Amos Oz has been one of the candidates for the Nobel Prize for several years. His opus critically describes the Israeli reality and tries to find ways for coexistence and tolerance between Israelis and Palestinians. He has been actively involved in the peace process since the 1960s, which has brought him numerous international awards. He entered the Slovenian readership in 1995 with the novel Črna skrinjica. He is one of those authors who managed to maintain a high artistic level and still sell a huge number of books.
You will be able to listen to Amos Oz on Sunday, 11 March 2012, at 19:00 in the Synagogue Maribor. The literary evening is organized by Maja Kutin.
